An AGV is a flexible and cost-effective material handling solution for industries
An Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a mobile robot that is guided by magnetic tape, a colored line or vision sensors to enable it to move from one location to another within a factory to carry out tasks.
These tasks can be things like transporting raw material, carrying specialized trolleys with kitting equipment, operating as a versatile assembly line instead of a conveyor or even for transporting humans within a facility.
- Our AGVs can work around the clock and allow goods to be picked up from one location and transported to various destination within a facility with little or no human intervention.
- Normal work can continue around the AGVs with minimal change in the environment. Our AGVs are equipped with a multitude of sensors to allow them to operate safely within a production facility.
- AGVs are able to operate completely autonomously as a fleet (zero human intervention) or semi autonomously, where a user interacts with the AGVs using our wireless systems to issue destination commands.
- The AGVs can also be driven in one of two modes: automated or manually driven using a remote control or a smartphone app. The manual mode can be used to maneuver the AGV at the operators will wherever it is needed within a facility.
